Ever since ChatGPT blew up in November 2022, things have really changed.

At first, it was just a silly tool — something to play around with. It was just a Q&A machine. But over time, I started using it every day.

Most people still don’t use AI seriously. Think about it. More than 3 billion people use Facebook.

And only 300 million people are currently using ChatGPT. And more than half of those folks are students!

Real people have heard about it, maybe tried it once or twice, but they don’t really know how to make it useful.

That’s a mistake. If you want to stay ahead, you need to figure out how AI fits into your life — not just as a gadget, but as an extension of your mind.

Here’s how I use AI to get more done, think better, and make faster decisions.

  1. Brainstorming & Soundboarding
I use ChatGPT like a thought partner. When I’m stuck, I talk things out — sometimes literally using voice prompts. This helps me clarify ideas and get fresh angles fast.
  2. Research & Fact-Checking
Instead of falling into research rabbit holes, I use AI for quick summaries. If I need key insights on a company or a trend, AI gives me a starting point. I still verify everything, but it saves me hours.
  3. Writing & Content Creation
AI helps me outline articles, refine ideas, and even suggest analogies or examples. But I never let it do the heavy lifting — good writing still comes from me.
  4. Investment Analysis
When I’m analyzing a stock, I use AI to surface potential risks, compare financials, and highlight trends I might’ve missed. It’s not a crystal ball, but it forces me to think critically.
  5. Personal Finance & Decision-Making
I run quick financial projections with AI — things like, “If I invest X per month, what’s my potential return in 10 years?” It’s a fast way to test ideas without digging through spreadsheets.
  6. Moving Faster
This is the biggest one. AI helps me to think better and act faster. No matter what I’m stuck on, I turn to AI, and it somehow gives me input to get going.

Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, put it best: “Either you will be replaced by AI, or you will be replaced by someone using AI.”

No one really knows what’s about to happen. But from what I can see, AI is going to change everything.

If you don’t start using it now, it’s safe to say you’re going to fall behind.

So, experiment. Try things. See what works. The sooner you get comfortable with AI, the bigger the advantage you’ll have.
