Getting up tired sucks. I would keep experimenting with things that help. Don’t try to fight it; work with what is given to you. Maybe between 3:00–5:30 are your best hours?

Worst case scenario: spend the time you’re awake on something useful if you can’t sleep at all. The body and mind work in mysterious ways but if you keep trying you might find something that works.
