Great question. The one thing that improved my runs during windy/rainy weather is a lightweight running jacket. I own a Nike Vapor, which is great and very versatile. Before I had a good jacket I wouldn’t go for a run because the weather was bad. I try to set up my running habit in a way that can’t make up excuses to not run.

Also, I recommend running with a heart rate monitor to train more effectively. I started doing that after 6/7 months of daily running. Keep it simple at first. Let me know if you ever have questions.
